Rent arrears are going to screw an entire industry, most landlords still want 100% and it’s likely they won’t let us open again until may. That’ll be 15 months closed, @BorisJohnson @RishiSunak need to do something comprehensive on rents as the grants don’t come close to helping

I know many in GM have repeated this but

WE HAVE BEEN IN TIER 3 (or equivalent) SINCE AUGUST

5 months of restrictions, barely any national coverage.

London goes into Tier 3 and the world comes to an end.

The Tier restrictions need to be reviewed on a weekly basis.

48 hours notice, isn’t enough for a business to re open, re order, re stock, re staff and accept bookings.

Another example of Hospitality not being understood.

Hey @KateGreenSU what is being done to help commercial tenants whose landlords refuse to work with them to find a solution on rent? The government has closed ya, reopened us, now we have a curfew and probably another lockdown to come. We all can’t simply just pay 100% rent
