Planting our own tiny seeds! One of our wonders at the beginning of our plant inquiry was “what is inside a seed?”

Pumpkin math & pumpkin science! How many unifex cubes tall are our pumpkins? Will a pumpkin sink or float in a bucket of water? We now wonder - why does a pumpkin float if it’s heavy? #SD36learn

Still life pumpkin paintings! We sat in a circle on the carpet around 1 of our class pumpkins. We studied it before drawing, outlining in sharpie, and then painting using watercolours! When seen as capable, 4&5 year olds are capable of anything. #sd36learn
