Once you experience Tesla Full Self-Driving on a daily basis, there’s no going back.

You click a button on the screen, then you basically teleport to your destination.

When Cybercab becomes available, people are going to do the mental math very quickly.

Around $30K for a car that can drive itself, charge wirelessly, cost very little per mile, and skip most of the normal car-owner headaches.

Then it gets more interesting.

Sleep on the way.
Work on the way.
Send it on errands.
Let it pick someone up.
Let it earn when you are not using it.

For elderly people, disabled passengers, busy families, and anyone tired of parking, Cybercab starts making a ridiculous amount of sense.

Everyone will want one eventually.

I was a skeptic. A big one. Then ….

- went for a 1 hour test drive. Wow.
- booked a 24 hour test drive. Wow wow!!
- ordered a MY AWD Premium which took 3 weeks.
- 1 month in …. Use FSD 97% of the time.

It’s incredible. I really didn’t understand.

But it’s way more than the tech. I am so much more relaxed driving. It’s given me back more mental energy to be present with my family.

I golfed yesterday in 96 degree heat. When I was done, I had the car cool itself down, summoned it over to me so I didn’t need to walk across parking lot with my clubs, and then drove me home while I sipped on a Gatorade.

🚨 NEWS: Giga Texas continues to expand across multiple projects.

@JoeTegtmeyer reports Model Y L units in the outbound lot alongside Cybercabs and newly built Cybertrucks leaving the factory.

The Optimus factory has grown again with more structural steel in place, while site work continues on the Advanced Chip Fab, suggesting initial construction could begin soon.
