@Oceanbreeze473 That’s why Obama met with Carney behind closed doors so he could set his plan in motion. Why do you think Carney brought in Maya Johnson, it’s clear election interference by the Democrats via Canada’s trade deal.
Hey @Grok, did the Canadian government use taxpayer money to fund research that sorted Canadians on social media into political groups, including one labelled “Anti-Liberal”? How much did it cost, why was it done, and what exactly were they tracking? Short answer.
According to reporting by Politico, the Privy Council Office is refusing to disclose the salary range of Patrick Pichette, CEO of Digital Transformation Canada, despite having published the salary ranges of his predecessor and other senior appointees.
When salaries are kept secret, the public automatically loses trust. We are entering a new technological era, and Pichette’s responsibilities as CEO may be much greater than his predecessors'.
Regardless, the government needs to be transparent about the role and disclose his salary range so Canadians can judge fairly.
Taxpayers should always have the right to know the salary ranges of senior officials paid with their hard-earned tax dollars.
