I've had my #Tesla #Powerwall for some time and was very happy - great product! Why then does @Tesla @TeslaSupport let down their customers with bad support deactivating their expensive device for 6 weeks because they can't get them a $50 glorified router?

@JMMZHerrera @ghost_scot @Tesla @elonmusk Documentation is sparse, not sure if the device allows the battery to connect to the Tesla servers or if it's in charge of connecting to the backup Gateway or both. The BG currently can't see the battery so it has to have something to do with that.

My sup. req. was upgrd to "urgent" but my wait time for a $50 device that keeps my $11000 #powerwall from working is still 4 -6 weeks while new installs go ahead. There is no backlog, just a priorit. of new installs. Existing clients aren't valued. @Tesla @elonmusk #Tesla #Solar

I responded to this email from #Tesla @Tesla right away and for 5 days nothing. A gateway is a little black plastic device and without it your $11000 (installed price) #Powerwall won't work. @elonmusk make premium support options, I'd pay for that. This though, just plain sux

When @Tesla solar equipment works - it works great, a real fire-and-forget-missile experience. But if something breaks ... #teslasupport is really lacking. No responses, everything takes forever, and I have no functioning #powerwall for up to 6 weeks - or maybe longer? @elonmusk

Apparently it takes 4 - 6 weeks for @Tesla to replace a gateway for my #teslapowerwall. That means no battery backup for that period. Also no response to followup questions for 5 days. #teslaenergy support is a useless black hole. @elonmusk , you need to fix your sucky support
