@broadwaybabyto Your doctor sounds like a pompous a$$hole for suggesting it was your appendix-but I want to just share that on our end requesting a pregnancy test is never to disrespect/discredit the patient…it’s because we get surprises all the time and need information.

@broadwaybabyto I’m an ED RN. I have situations almost weekly where it’s “impossible to be pregnant” and then the patient gets a positive test in our care. It’s not JUST about the health of the mom and fetus, it’s also a medical differential. Pregnancy is systemic.
