@Conley81 @vivafringe Sort of an odd question - I'm trying to track down the etomology of the term "magical Christmasland". The earliest mentions I can find of it are from November 2009, in a review of Agricola and jund ultimatum respectively. Did you coin the term independently?
@Ajelenbogen@XSarustaX@spooksgw@BroknLung@BatesMtg@fireshoes@Mrtoolshed_@JoeyNubzy As someone else said in the thread, he was playing raucous carnival (<13 life DSK common dual), which is weird enough that I can understand it being mistaken for something else. Is the implication that he cheated a bivouac into play and then... didn't use it?
@XSarustaX@spooksgw@BroknLung@Ajelenbogen@BatesMtg@fireshoes@Mrtoolshed_@JoeyNubzy Would him now chiming in to say "I fully agree with the investigation, decision, and DQ, as it is the right call with the evidence they had. I had no intention to cheat and truly have no idea where that plains came from or went" make a difference at this point? Minds seem made up
@THETannonGrace Ask how many sets they have left. Depending on their answer, wait or ask to work in. There shouldn't be a situation where that leads to an outcome of you waiting much longer.
@MissouriMTG All of this and Nashville (35th largest US metro with a little over 2M people) has 2 LGSs that run events, and both are 20min away from downtown in opposite directions.
@Top8Games 2 important notes here: 30yo gum is dusty (I've tried booster pack gum that predates my existence) and my friends and I add a round of these bizarre packs to our chaos drafts for extra fun. I usually pick them up for like a dollar when I see them.
@Graham_LRR to your point about Ragavan not being awesome in sealed: I had 2 in my prerelease pool and still managed to pull off 1-2 record (and a hair away from 0-3)
