Just finished listening to @hugovickers superb new book, Queen Elizabeth II. It’s a must read! The one thing I found baffling is that a man who has spent his life so close to royalty, both literally & in writing, so utterly flubbed the pronunciation of Princess Eugenie’s name! 🤷🏻‍♂️

They remain in Britain, and are occasionally asked to conduct official engagements. They’ve never stepped away from being royal, and so can use their title all the time, as they see fit.

Harry and Meghan agreed to step fully away from royal duties, part of this was not using their royal status for commercial gain. They had been working royals, so the situation was extremely unusual and new rules had to be created.

Another day, another attack by @amandajplatell on Princess Beatrice, this time for her CHARITY work & guest appearance on a podcast about premature birth, something HRH is personally familiar with. What has Beatrice ever done wrong? Why be so spiteful, she is NOT her parents!!!!

Listening to Entitled on Audible. It’s excellent, but I do wish @andrewlownie had researched how you pronounce Princess Eugenie’s name before recording! 🙄

@martin_youldon Not quite, its the second syllable that trips people up. Accurately pronounced it should sound like Yoo-juh-nee, people often say Yoo-gee-nee, which is quite incorrect!
