@StevenPulteFam Parenthood is a practice of failing. You will need to learn how to fail over and over and keep going and keep improving. The hardest part is that your failure is reflected in the child. When you see the harm your failure has caused, it is painful. But you must continue.

@w_bitterman I've been a Christian since I was 6, have fully believed in Jesus and in God, but I still struggled with various sins until one day recently he did as you said. I experienced the holy Spirit for the first time and it has been incredible. I am in the storm and still praising him.

@Pastor_Gabe I don't think there's any benefit to arguing the way the world was made at all. It does nothing for anyone and does not matter what you believe in terms of salvation. Focus on the gospel and let people come to their own conclusions over time.

Despite this, I praise God. I thank him for this suffering he is allowing me to go through. I know it is part of his plan. I am not afraid. I know he will make all things whole again in his perfect timing. I rejoice in the Lord.

My father is in the ICU. This is likely the start of the end for him unless a miracle happens. He is only 61. He's also my boss. I am going through this without my wife as we are separated right now. I may soon have to bury my father. Find a new job. And support my mother.

@DejaRu22 It's happened to me a lot recently, I attribute it to God. I'm sure there's some scientific explanation, but I believe science is how we explain God's mechanisms.

@Batenswytch @Veronica31378 Sometimes that's the quickest fix. I can't afford it so I've just been finding ways to build soil. Chickens and compost piles are pretty efficient but does take work

@Batenswytch @Veronica31378 Did you do rotational grazing? I've been doing it just with my chickens and already see a huge benefit after 1 year. Starting my goats and sheep on it now
