That awkward moment when you try to check to see if the @CastingCallClub site is down, and Google AI tells you that the website has been "permanently closed since April 1st, 2024"🤣

My TWO BIGGEST icks might be controversial:

1. Having the audition be submitted by posting openly on socials.
Auditions should be auditions, not free advertisement for your project IMHO.

2. Charging for auditions.
Making me buy something or pay for the chance to audition? Nope.

@itsbethpierce I've only lived here for over year, but having lived in a few places while I was in the military: the summers are hot (and apparently I've not yet experienced the worst), traffic is bad (but not as bad as Maryland or Quebec), but the people are nice and there's some cool areas!

@AdamCurleyVA I won a raffle to play a game with a streamer who was working on an animation project. He liked my voice, cast me in a role that later got cut, but I still worked on the project 'cause I sent a meme voice recording of myself that landed me a DIFFERENT character.

I've seen a string of a few friends taking lower-than-lowball #voiceover roles, which is totally fine and I'm not against, but they didn't KNOW they were being lowballed.
