Build your children up, don't tear them down. You can do this encouraging them, and by helping them learn from their mistakes, rather than judging them by their "failures". And never be afraid to apologize! Even parents make mistakes, and have a bad day.

@ModestTeacher I agree. A good teacher can make or break the passion a child has for learning, as well as the child's self confidence. A burned out, stressed teacher will have as strong an impact, but not in a good way for either of them. Take care of the teachers, & the children flourish.
