I love books. I just hate what they cost now. Yes, libraries help. Used copies help. But a basic hardcover should not feel like a bill payment. Make books affordable again. #MakeBooksAffordableAgain
Storming a worship service and terrorizing people mid-prayer is a "peaceful protest" now. Got it. Apply that same logic to a mosque or a synagogue and see how fast the city attorney changes his answer.
According to the city attorneyโs logic, it is perfectly fine for agitators to invade a mosque, a cathedral, or a temple, shout in peopleโs faces, terrorize their children, and shut down their religious gathering.
Just call it a โprotest.โ
That is the kind of city Kaohly Her and Irene Kao want.
Two people close the same Bible. One calls it outdated. The other says it has nothing to say to their life. They walked away for opposite reasons and ended up in the same place. The new episode is on why both of them are wrong. https://t.co/m6KV7mSHHT
I watched the footage. Henry Nowak was stabbed, called for help, said he couldn't breathe, and his pleas were ignored. He died in handcuffs. If you don't see anything wrong with that, your politics have warped your conscience. I question whether you have one.
The bodycam footage of Henry Nowak has just been released.
An 18-year-old who was stabbed FIVE TIMES called the police for help.
His attacker told officers Henry was a racist.
So they handcuffed the victim.
Henry told them over and over:
"I've been stabbed."
"I can't breathe."
"Please brother, I can't breathe."
An officer responded: "You've been stabbed, mate? I don't think you have."
Henry died in handcuffs.
The mainstream media has said NOTHING.
Where is the same outrage from when George Floyd died?
Watch this footage. Share it everywhere.
Pray for Henryโs family.
@timwildsmith About 57, including study Bibles. I like collecting old Bibles, and the majority of the study bibles are because of useful articles within them. My wife thinks I have too many. She's probably right... But there are worse things I could be spending money on.
Esther's real name was Hadassah. Means "myrtle" in Hebrew. "Esther" comes from Ishtar, a Babylonian goddess. A Jewish girl in a pagan empire with a pagan name. Blending in. And God still put her on a throne.

Mordecai did 5 things in Esther's life that changed everything.
He took her in. Gave her wisdom. Showed up every day. Earned her trust. And told her the truth when it counted. New Word Walk episode breaks down all five from Esther 2.
