I know valtor was the biggest threat to the magical dimension (fuck the fish) but can we talk about how BADASS were the trix in season 1??? We’re talking about high schoolers who started from NOTHING, valtor already had the dragon flame himself, the trix STOLE it, they took over

I remember being SHOCKED when i watched this scene as a kid, because we realised what the trix were doing wasn’t only effecting the 3 school but even magix, which we were used to see as a lively city, that was insane

My Winx Club hot take is that fairy dust really removed a lot of the magical stakes from the show since there's no defined limits and can easily be used to defeat most of the Winx's enemies. I wasn't that bothered when later seasons didn't use that power

I feel similarly about the Believix special wings. Those abilities should just be part-and-parcel of fairy wings in general without going through a whole transformation sequence to summon them
