@morallygrace@ArielleSchx@Hozier I am. I am old ๐and prefer a cd with liner notes, lyrics, and pics. Streaming is fine when I'm at my computer, but I like the physical copy in my hot little hands. And I like knowing the artist is definitely getting paid for their work.
@ArielleSchx@Hozier I hate that - I don't want to pay for a whole album again when there are only a few new tracks. Streaming has helped this, but some of us like physical formats still.
@Hozier Longer. If you love an artist's music, you will appreiciate a greater sampling of their art. If you are a lukewarm fan, the longer format gives you a greater chance to find something you really like.
@danpatinkin You have to get something on the page to work with. Beautiful words in your head are nice, but they'll never go farther than that if they stay there!
I just finished drafting my first new pic book in a long time and ... it sucks. No, seriously, it is BAD. But the idea is fantastic & there's potential & I will keep working on it until it shines.
And you - keep writing, revising, & believing in yourself

@catwinters Maybe not. Idk when you got home, but neighbors were still shooting off big fireworks at 1:30 and you could probably hear them at your house. Our poor cat was a wreck! Happy 2023, friend!
Isnโt it strange
The way we say
I love you
When you walk away
Would it not be better
To reverse and revive
And to say I love you
As soon as you arrive
@JessDayGeorge My husband said it fit with how she acts in the comics (trying hard not to spoil) so I think it was just jarring. The way she moved from point A to point B was amazingly rendered, but if you don't know the comic it came out of nowhere. Hoping for season 2, though!
