Synonym and antonym are antonyms, you see. While antonyms are the opposite meaning to another word, synonyms are words that are similar or near in meaning. Both are useful when forming a compelling narrative. #vocab

Word choice is crucial - especially when it comes to grant writing. We must be direct in our language, using words in a persuasive and concise way. For instance, replacing phrases like “very good”, with words like exemplary, excellent, or admirable can have a greater impact.

A metaphor compares two similar things by saying that one of them is the other. Metaphors are water colors, Picasso would be nothing without them in the same way that Shakespeare would be nothing without words. That was a metaphor. Still, what an awesome way to WORD IT! #TWN
