Just how soon are we going to reach solar minimum? Solar Cycle 25 is declining faster than any prediction. At least at the moment there are no signs of a surge, the decline continues. The faster we reach minimum and the solar terminator, the larger Solar Cycle 26 will likely be.

@mrwx4caster NHPGF or right mover.
Although that meso was rather weak it definitely made that cell change its forward motion from NE to E. I was at Dave & Busters w/ the fam when it moved through. I was still a little too far to the south to see anything.
@JunkScience I just read an article about a teen who did an experiment with CO² levels over cities vs open natural land. It took place in AZ and CO² levels were actually lower over the cities compared to natural woodland areas. A completely different outcome then what as expected.
☀️ A never-ending midnight sun (84 days)
From spring to summer, the area around Utqiaġvik, Alaska transforms from a frozen tundra to a mosaic of ponds during its 84 days without a sunset. Winter brings the opposite extreme when the sun disappears for weeks at a time.
@theauroraguy Had to do two. The first one with the aurora was with a crappie cell camera. We've upgraded awhile ago. So here's the Sun during The Great Smoke event in Southern Ontario during the horrible wildfires.
NEW: We just shipped a fully 3D, scrollable aurora visibility forecast: drag to rotate the globe, scroll to zoom, watch the aurora oval expand in real time as the Kp index climbs. Built on real magnetic-latitude math and real coastlines.
