To summarize, we found a natural antibody secreted by B-1 cells that binds to terminal GlcNAc on diverse viral envelope proteins but not host cells. I co-founded a company, PanV Inc, to develop broadly reactive antiviral mAbs for human use. @yaleventures (14/)

This week I got to spend time with one of the scientists that have inspired our work on #ELOB cells the most. Dr John F Kearney @UABMicrobiology. Life is good! How does early life B cell imprinting influence your favorite immune response?
Thanks to @cdscharer for hosting me at @EmoryMicrobio. Making new friends in science is the best. Meeting with dr Max Cooper was...no words…#Bcells 🤓🙌🎇
🙏Huge thank you to @KAW for funding our collaborative project across three Swedish Universities to 'Dissect the unexplored dimensions of B cell memory'. We will explore hidden layers of B cell memory to better understand the anatomy of a potent and durable antibody response!🎉
New faces in the @TheYuanLab. Welcome Konjit and Bin, thank you for bringing your expertise from your PhD labs and your diverse perspectives. We are so excited to have you!! #ELOB#ERCCoG @Lund_Stem @medfak_LU
Happy to have contributed to this exciting work by good friend @katha_lahl and colleagues! By time-stamping early life origin B cells we helped to show that B cell priming is not delayed by the presence of maternal abs! #ELOB#Bcells#LUImmunotalks@Lund_Stem@medfak_LU
Here's the latest in greatest (I think...😃) from our lab! If you end up having a look and have any comments I'd love to hear them!
Maternal immunity protects offspring from enteric viral infection without negatively affecting humoral immune memory https://t.co/aewdHxcUXe
Passive immunity from mother to offspring is important for protecting against infections early in life but can also hamper immune responses to vaccines in newborns. This is why some vaccines are not given as early after birth as we'd like (ex measles). New interesting work from @katha_lahl lab & @TheYuanLab show that de novo immune responses are in fact delayed, but not blunted by maternal abs with B cell responses traced back to original infection by lineage tracing. Nice work! https://t.co/aegqemn72W
Lund does immunology! #LUImunotalks starts next Tuesday at 10 where neonatal immune development and protection will be center stage! Don't miss this opportunity interact with your colleagues @medfak_LU@Lund_Stem @LuWcmm
1/23 We are excited to announce that our most recent study “In vivo dendritic cell reprogramming for cancer immunotherapy” was published in @ScienceMagazine.

Here is a summary of what we discovered!
