I still have many problems with the remakes translations (even more so now that they back peddled with more of the XSEED/NISA names and retcons, going forward)

The driving theme of FF14 localization from everything that I've seen is basically this:

If the JP script is fun and makes jokes, they kill the jokes and make it bland.

If the JP is serious or interesting, they add a bunch of jokes and random bullshit.

I love the XP going up in the corner from doing nothing. Every single 3rd person action game needs "RPG" elements. I can't wait for the ability to add fire damage to Wolverine's claws and deal 2.5% extra damage to left handed enemies on thursdays while "Focus Sight" is active.

Many players use it throughout the whole aincrad arc without even realizing they are.

I would suggest looking into Alicization/accel world lore if you wanna know how the vr>mind system works, in-world.

This is the same scene/mission as the black screen bug that everyone has talked about since release.

So far all you have described is that you didn’t see the scene where everyone meets up for 10 seconds just to say they will regroup back at town.
