I am all for helping those genuinely fleeing war and oppression, but anyone who thinks that is the real reason for mass migration into Europe is suffering from terminal naivety. It's a long-time Cult plan to impose a cultural transformation on the West - confirmed by Cult-owned Tony Blair's central involvement as prime minister.
It's not about 'multi-culturalism'. It's societal transformation and that's why there are so many government incentives for people to come here by every means possible. It's not incompetence in its origin, it is by design, with naïve virtue-signalling pawns acting as the foot soldiers who have no idea what is happening and why.
Migrants are also pawns in this coldly-calculated psychopathy as well as the indigenous population and the incentives to come are designed to increase the numbers, not because the Cult cares about them. To the Cult they are simply a means to an end.

Why do they contain folic acid?

Not, I suspect, because the manufacturer of Soreens thought it was a good idea.

No, they contain it because the Uniparty government, at the behest of some faceless global bureaucrats, passed a law in 2024 which said that all non wholemeal flour must contain folic acid, to protect babies in the womb from developing neural tube defects.

Is primary school children having babies with spina bifida a big problem in the UK?

I do like to fact check my posts before posting, so I asked an AI how many newborns were born with neural tube defects to primary school age children in 2025 and it said, with barely disguised contempt for my question "zero".

I think the actual problem here is that we are governed top-down by lunatic ideologues who don't consider the consequences of their decisions.

Folic acid seems to have magically become something that is seen as completely benign and can be given to everyone and anyone, when the reality is rather different.

The legislation to mandate folic acid in all non-wholemeal flour (and therefore de facto, introducing it to almost all processed foods containing flour) was introduced in Parliament via a "statutory instrument".

There is an increasing trend for government to do this, rather than use primary legislation, and it means there is less scope for debate and scrutiny, allowing bad, and unwanted, law to end up on the statute books.

This needs to stop. It's just another example of how broken our "democracy" is.

Government might say "but this is just a detailed technical measure, uncontroversial, no need for a full debate or Act of Parliament ".

Wrong wrong wrong!

This is mass medication of the public, without informed consent, when there are known and acknowledged dangers to health.
