The Harder They Fall….
The saga of Anthony Fauci is a now all too familiar example of narcissistic and bureaucratic insiders who start with a classic rise only to fall into utter destruction.
Think also John Bolton, James Comey, Jack Smith, and now Anthony Fauci.
Fueled by media flattery, and their over the top rhetoric, they posture as consummate “professionals.”
These egomaniacs convince themselves they are our untouchable defenders of the established Washingtonian order, as supposedly sober and judicious custodians of the government. And when warned where they are ultimately headed, and to tread lightly, they instead interpret such sound advice as the jealousy of the envious.
In the current decade that arrogance is best manifested as crusading against public enemy number one, Donald J. Trump.
So insidiously they up their Trump derangement rhetoric. They cite their titles and degrees as they vaingloriously skirt the law.
Finally drunk on leftwing media adulation, they delude themselves into believing that their megalomaniac behavior is exempt from any consequences.
And then what?
At the apex of their hubris, Nemesis strikes.
And they fall hard by their own overweening arrogance.
John Bolton could not just be content and thankful that he finally got a cabinet-level appointment without the need for Senate confirmation, and thus show some deference to his savior Donald Trump.
Instead, almost immediately like some rookie intern he began sending classified information over unsecure email—writing an on-the-job, tell-all book, timed to appear during the 2020 election and to sandbag his own president.
After all, who would dare to question much less cross the expert John Bolton as he rushed heading into felony convictions and self-implosion?
In 2016 FBI James Comey acted as if he was the godhead of American law enforcement.
As investigator, prosecutor, judge and jury he alone would adjudicate whether the classified document destroyer Hillary Clinton committed a felony.
Comey alone would launch a Steele-dossier witch hunt against Donald Trump, and crown himself the veritable arbiter of presidential elections.
And now?
His rendezvous with Nemesis rendered him a disgraced leaker and fired FBI director, claiming amnesia or ignorance 245 times under oath before a House committee.
Comey was finally reduced to the role of a social media pop philosopher. His final curtain call?
Comey was posting seashell “8647” infantile threats—and then denying as a former FBI Director that “86” had anything to with violent acts of expulsion.
Jack Smith was an obscure liberal fixture in DOJ circles for years—until he was coronated as special counsel—coincidentally three days after Trump, on November 15, 2022, announced he was running for president in 2024.
How strange that the same day, Letitia James was for some reason in the White House.
Nathan Wade, Fannie Willis’s paramour, was too, meeting with Biden’s White House counsel.
And on that day too Merrick Garland’s number three prosecutor Michael Colangelo (freshly hired from James’s prosecution team) announced he was leaving his billet, soon on spec to join Alvin Bragg’s lawfare.
The left began thinking Smith was godlike, a veritable new and improved Robert Mueller, similarly tasked with delivering the federal knock-out blow to Donald Trump.
Within months of his appointment, Smith became a holy crusader to the leftwing media.
That adulation and his hubris drove Smith to rush his absurd 44 indictments to get Trump as recklessly and quickly as possible—worried that Trump first might be elected and thus by Supreme Court case law immune as a sitting president from prosecution.
So the more the media deified him, the more maddened Smith became.
Smith finally was reduced to tapping the phone records of U.S. Senators and grabbing National Archive records of Trump’s text messaging, where he was surveying the private correspondence of more U.S. senators.
And now?
Nemesis reduced him from the heights of would-be Trump slayer to a failed, and unscrupulous prosecutor, omitting to report free and untaxed legal services from his own firm, abandoned by his media toadies, and soon to be facing criminal referrals.
You can add John Brennan, James Clapper, Mark Milley, and Robert Mueller to the same cast.
They too became intoxicated with government power, and believed they were divinely appointed to end Trump. And so they played out a Greek tragedy, consumed by hubris (overweening arrogance) that drove them to atê (mindless recklessness), only to end in Nemesis (cosmic retribution and destruction).
These egos never learned that the amoral leftwing media is a fickle flatterer (remember they even once deified the Stormy Daniels con artist and soon to be felon Michale Avenatti as presidential timber.)
These unelected legends in their own minds confuse their enormous government granted powers at their disposal as bureaucrats with some sort of regal right that will exempt them from any consequences of their lawless arrogance.
And so soon they lie under oath to Congress, or call up Chinese generals to warn them about their own president, or sign patently false affidavits attesting that the Hunter Biden laptop was the work of the Ruskies, or tap senatorial phones—or almost anything that would ensure their inevitable fall from grace and utter humiliation.
So too with the once celestial and now laughingstock Anthony Fauci (who once compared himself to Albert Einstein).
The common denominator?
The greater their arrogance, the harder they certainly fall.
I served on the Covid Select Committee on Oversight under Republican leadership.
It was one of most frustrating experiences. I’m pretty sure I was the only unvaccinated member on the committee.
Republicans will never hold Fauci accountable, nor Big Pharma or anyone else, for all the horrific crimes done against the American people during Covid.
It’s all a show.
Just like Trump mocking Joe Biden with the autopen.
Trump will never undo any of Biden’s pardons because he knows he needs to use them later for family and staff, and likely himself.
Trump loves the Covid vaccines and most Republican members of congress got vaccinated. There were very few of us who refused.
It takes 218 members of congress (or a majority) to do anything in congress and most refuse to do anything courageous, which is why nothing ever changes.
Stop looking to your elected leaders to fix things, haven’t you realized yet they lie to you claiming they will and then literally refuse to do it.
Everyday, I wonder when the American people will stop tolerating their government screwing them over.
David Jolly supported Dr. Anthony Fauci’s COVID lockdowns.
David Jolly backed mask mandates.
David Jolly backed business shutdowns.
David Jolly backed school and church closings.
In David Jolly’s Florida, frauds like Anthony Fauci are put in charge.
Not in my Florida.
“You got rich while people were dying.”
Senator Josh Hawley confronts Fauci for making millions while more than a million Americans died during COVID.
“During the pandemic, you got rich, didn’t you?”
“Hundreds of thousands of Americans, over a million in the end.”
“You were using federal employees with taxpayer money to apply for and solicit cash prizes for you personally.”
“Cash prizes totaling over a million dollars.”
“You did all of that during the pandemic, didn’t you?”
@HawleyMO
If Fauci had told our Founding Fathers "Sorry but I'm going to need you to mask up for 2 years, avoid peacefully assembling, avoid travel (especially to loved ones), avoid publishing criticisms of me, avoid church, & inject yourself with this experimental thing we haven't tested ourselves," how do you imagine they would have responded?
I truly believe there is a safe space and love for EVERYBODY. Biological girls, biological boys, trans women, and trans men. Everyone is welcome at my table! You can disagree and still be kind.
Bravo to those girls for standing up for what they believe. You’ll be hearing from me soon💕 yay for gifts.
Truly embarrassing of the co-owner. Unfortunately shows the type of leader she is.
It’s so disheartening that so many people don’t analyze the facts surrounding the funding, the misdirection, the cover ups to get to an emergency use approval, the lockdowns, the kids out of school… They got two things right. Two weeks to slow the spread, and Warp Speed vaccine for vulnerable adults. After that, it was public health at its worse…
Dr. Fauci sitting there and listening to the insane ramblings of Ron Johnson on Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine use for Covid without busting out laughing. Dr. Fauci is made of steel. We’d all be dead if the GOP had stayed in charge of the pandemic response.
@Morning_Joe@ScarboroughNow Your morning summation of the Covid Fauci coverage was disgusting. I’m done. If you don’t understand the frustration of what Dr Fauci did during the pandemic, you’ve missed the boat.
Over and done with this show.
The Real Anthony Fauci became the #1 non-fiction hardcover bestseller despite being the most censored book of the decade. Bookstores, including national chains, refused to carry it. Libraries refused to carry it. Every major newspaper declined to review it. The New York Times refused to publish a paid advertisement for the book and made it #7 on its bestseller list, even though it outsold any other book by thousands of copies.
YouTube took down videos of a book signing. Amazon shadow banned it. Twitter wouldn’t let the publisher promote it.
Despite all of that, 1.4 million Americans bought the book because they were tired of the lies and they wanted their freedom back.
Then today, with hundreds of millions of Americans demanding the truth, Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times at his Senate hearing. The American people waited six years for answers. Today, they got silence. But that silence told us all we needed to know.
Thank you, @SenRandPaul, for your relentless pursuit of truth, transparency, and accountability. 🇺🇸
There was plenty senators could have asked Dr. Fauci about what lessons he learned, and the country should, from the COVID pandemic. Instead they engaged in an obvious attempt to demonize and entrap the 85-year-old, who received the Medal of Freedom from a Republican POTUS for the work he did to save millions here and abroad from the AIDS epidemic.
This was not about public health. It was about one senators longstanding vendetta.
Dr. Fauci is a deeply caring physician, a brilliant scientist, an extraordinary public servant, a humanitarian, & a patriot—whose work has helped save tens of millions of lives.
It is a shame to watch him be dragged in front of Congress in the name of bogus conspiracy theories.
A 2021 email from Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance to the Wuhan scientist suspected of starting the Covid pandemic - asking her NOT to share data with other US scientists about the coronaviruses they have collected.
Here's the truth about Tony Fauci:
He's just not that smart.
During the HIV crisis, guys who knew they would die if they couldn't sort him out talked some sense into him (he was obsessed with vaccines that didn't work, surprise surprise) and he finally came around and funded useful research.
But by the time Covid came around, he was too powerful for anyone to reach, and his ego was so big he didn't even know what he didn't know. He was an 80-year-old man asking the wrong questions as Jake Tapper and the gang fellated him (not literally, I hope).
Now - in his own words - he has revealed the truth some of us knew by mid-2020.
Fauci, Nov. 17, 2021:
"I was nervous all night... about having gotten infected in that very crowded restaurant despite the fact that vaccination proof was required to get in. I'm well aware many people who are vaccinated are still getting infected and that worried me a lot."
Smart meter. Digital ID. Digital money. Camera in your car. Plate readers on every road.
Each is being sold to you as “convenience,” “safety,” or “security.”
Connect the dots, and it stops looking like technology. It starts looking like the operating system for total surveillance.
And it’s nearly finished.
Fauci joined the NIH in 1968.
About 6% of American kids had a chronic condition back then.
By 1984, when he took over NIAID, it was 11.8%.
Forty years later, it’s over 60%.
Fauci didn’t lose a war on disease. He waged one on your kids.
