@PaperclipPool I keep reading that SV1 hashers won't get paid. I'm up and running on Datum now, but how will Stratum pay the subsidy if SV1 doesn't get paid?
Big Short investor Steve Eisman says the AI labs know they have no moats and are manufacturing a crisis to get regulation that hands them a duopoly
"I think this is all nonsense."
[ You think it's all nonsense? ]
"All nonsense. I think that there's something else completely going on here. ... What I think is happening is that token maxing is over. The open weight models are taking big market share. I think these companies are very nervous. They realize that there are no moats around their business whatsoever, and they're trying to manufacture a crisis that will create regulation, and that they think they can then manipulate to create the moats, to create the duopoly that they want."
[ Wow. ]
"That's what I think is going on."
"Honestly, I think this whole Terminator thing is garbage. That's for sure."

Bitcoin/XBT @blockvase stratum v1 endpoint is live, 2.3% fee 2% goes to DATUM clients in the share window + 0.3% goes to the pool = 2.3% total sv1 fee
DATUM clients are preferred, 0% pool fee until the first pool block, then 0.21% forever, which gets you automatic sv1 pool rewards

It's *not* an inside job.
Andy wasn't running a Ponzi Scheme and Blockstream absolutely did *not* pull off a fake hack, stealing their own money and giving it back to themselves minus the money they needed (~$50m or so) to keep the game of musical chairs going.
It's totally a thing for a "white hat" to take a $50m cut for themselves.
My guess is Coinbase will not list BLAKE2b BTC because I do not believe they have all the bitcoin in custody they claim to have. If true, they will avoid the split at all costs and make excuses.
This is my absolute favorite CNBC moment of all time. He never gave a shit even when it wasn’t popular…
