Would you use cosmetics or skincare products that use nanotechnology to get ingredients deeper into the skin and who knows where else?

@DanDicksPFT@NikkelKimberly I can't believe that they were questioning people driving home or anywhere else minding their own business. Provincial borders are not foreign borders.
Digital verification for tradespeople is not okay.

@COVID19_disease Monstrous.
SARS-related viruses aren't 'waiting to jump' from bats. 🙄 So called 'virus hunters' are risking spreading obscure viruses that should have been left well enough alone.

This is exactly the kind of political deterioration we’ve watched happen in Canada. Elected officials shouldn’t be throwing labels around to demonize people they disagree with. Their job is to set an example, debate ideas honestly, and work to bring people together, not deepen the divisions. We need more leadership and a lot less name-calling.
@wimsee177781@DarrenPlymouth@robinmonotti They are locked in, aid trucks are blocked, there is incredible suffering from the genocide in Gaza and land theft in the West Bank. How much aid does lsraeI get?
We want more density options. We want walkable neighbourhoods, but blanket rezoning of 17 arbitrarily designated areas all at once is nonsensical. BIA's fear the impact in their already fragile centres with high vacancy rates. Start by providing support for those areas.
Eye-opening article about Meta/Facebook’s $13B data centre just outside Edmonton.
It will use more electricity (from fracked natural gas) than the whole city of Calgary.
Its “closed loop cooling system” will use about 1.2M litres of water a day.

“Cruel,” “shocking”, “ham-handed,” “draconian” and “authoritarian” were among the words that arose in recent interviews about the @CityofVancouver's so-called "Villages Plan."
Former @VancouverSun reporter Carol Volkart has an excellent article on 3 households learning that, under the Villages Plan, their properties will effectively be frozen.
Their properties will be restricted to four-to-six-storey apartments with ground-floor retail.
Until then, they won’t be able to expand or add to their homes, or build any other housing type.

Fascinating, for a future story. U.S.-backed YIMBYs and free-market libertarians are united on Vancouver's "Villages" plan public hearing tonite. The goal? Blanket upzoning on 14K lots. Deregulation for developers. Housing financialization. #VanPoli#bcpoli
As of 12 noon Jul 14. Villages plan to rezone about 13,260 land parcels (updated number) in one shot at Public Hearing today (Tues). 220 registered speakers, 2100+ letters, oppose:support is 6:1. #vanpoli https://t.co/1H0kSuuQLC
Anthem’s 66-storey tower on #Metrotown’s northern ridge, with a massive podium along Kingsway, will be the first to completely wall off North Shore views from the mall.
