I told my dad something, I told him not to tell my mum..barely a day after, my mum called to told me my dad told her what I told him.. but I shouldn't tell my dad she told me what I told him not to tell her 🤦🏽♀️
Since both of them are aware, I decided to call and tell both of them together and make it an open discussion. Guess what? Both of them pretended to be hearing it for the first time 😭 I was so pissed and confused. I ended the call.
If I’m to choose one reciter forever, don’t even let me think twice, I’m choosing Sheikh Saud Al Shuraim. There’s something about his gentleness, his calmness, that deep voice, the dignity in his recitation, and the courage of the man behind it all that makes him different. He wasn’t just a reciter you listened to, you felt him. His voice carries a kind of peace that is almost impossible to explain. There should be only one Shuraim. ❤️🩹
There’s nothing I want in life more than to be debt free. To be so financially okay I don’t have to borrow for any kind of emergency when it arises. Rabbi, amnahni 🤲🏻
May Allah give you the kind of peace that makes you stop worrying about things you cannot control. May He teach your heart to trust His timing, accept His decree, and believe that what He chooses for you will always carry wisdom even when you cannot see it immediately.
I pray that everything life has hardened in me softens again, without taking away the wisdom it taught me. I want to remain gentle, but never naive, loving but never easily used, forgiving, but never without boundaries.
