God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham answered by trusting God, even though it didn’t make sense. Why did God do this? To show that He can be trusted to provide. Is God asking you to do something that doesn’t seem to make sense? How will you respond?

A great way to learn about God is through relationships. If we go to church, sit quietly, then leave, we are missing out. This week, engage in conversations, ask questions, answer questions, & be open. God is eager to reveal His character & teach us His ways.

It can be easy to pat ourselves on the back now and then for doing good, or for not doing bad. Truth is, everything we do that glorifies God, we only do because God is working in us. Today, thank God for the ways He has worked/is working in & through you.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day lives we forget to worship God. It’s easy to go through life with our heads down, focusing on what we have to do each day. We must remember to look up. Today, let’s turn ordinary chores into acts of worship!

We get so caught up in doing the right things and not the wrong things. But when we focus on right and wrong actions alone, we can forget the reason. Jesus is the reason. All we think, say, and do should point to Him. Today, let’s focus on His being as much as our doing.

When we are telling others about Jesus, we are never alone. We
have the Holy Spirit with us always. Today, thank God for His constant
presence. Then ask God to remind you of His presence the next time
you’re walking into a situation and feeling alone.

The point of sharing Jesus isn’t to win an argument. It’s not to criticize or debate. We should just focus on humbly sharing the truth of God with folks. Christians are responsible for sharing the Gospel, it’s not up to us whether or not people will accept it.

Because we are children of God, we can walk through life in the confidence of knowing and being known by God. When your faith is challenged, remember that your identity is found in Whose you are. The way we live will look different when we remember this truth.

Although praying continually may seem unrealistic, constant communication with God brings improved relationship between us & Him. Today, do your best to pray continually. Let God in on all you’re facing & see if you notice a difference in the way life feels.
