@Arcturus6thdim1@elonmusk Old news. The original company was driven out of business, yes. Their IP was purchased by Overstock, rebranded as BBBY, and is in the midst of a turnaround story. Their CEO is Marcus Lemonis, and they own a portfolio of promising blockchain companies, including tZERO.
@tZERO@PolymathNetwork Nice. I've held 25k tokens of PolyX since Covid in anticipation of something like this eventually occurring. Hopefully this starts a positive trend for both. They need it.
@marcuslemonis BBBY at ~$8 per share, same as last year. tZERO IPO announced; store rollout(s) thus far successful w/ more coming; ticker change done; The Fixer came/went... Where's investor growth here? Market booming since 4/2025 and BBBY = flat :\
@RunAmokLuck Hey Hyrum, question for you, my friend, (assuming you see this message that is....) I noticed on ArtStation that you commissioned a number of talented artists to do artwork for your card game. What would you say the average cost per commission costs in $USD?
@darrylballegeer I also use those short stories to experiment different styles: 1st/3rd person, and variations of them. Writing from the perspective of a child, a dimwit, a living instrument, a physical weapon, a sociopath, a psychopath.... :D
@MRKistlerWrites Depends on your style, ability, and flow. To me? Descriptions are great if the writer can make them unique, purposeful, and entertaining; if they are creative and varied. Take a character description: always try different approaches when describing a new character. Mix it up.
@RococoPay Art: You might want to check out #ArtStationHQ and their website. Depends on what you're aiming for, but you can find top notch professional artists who seek contracts/jobs/commissions.
@kristen_kieffer Hail! Well met! I'm <expunged>, currently penning (read: typing) a number of character/world-driven novels set in my own massive, original universe (on par w/ the size of Forgotten Realms). This month...? I won the lotto!!! ... Oh, wait... No I did not. Sorry. #StorySocial
