Let’s unpack what that really means 👇

-First off — no, Tesla isn’t writing Elon a $1,000,000,000,000 check
This “pay” is in stock options, not salary.
He only gets rich if Tesla does too.

-Back in 2018, Tesla gave Musk a wild deal:
He can buy 304 million Tesla shares at just $23.34 each,
but only if Tesla hits massive growth goals.

-So what happens if Tesla’s stock skyrockets?
Let’s do the math ;

If Tesla’s share price hits:
💰 $500 → Elon’s profit = $145B
💰 $1,000 → $297B
💰 $2,000 → $601B
💰 $3,300 → $993B ≈ $1 trillion!

-That means Elon’s “$1T payday” only happens if Tesla’s stock price hits $3,300.

For context: Tesla currently has about 3.2 billion shares outstanding.
