This 1300 yrs old Martanda Sun Temple is from Anantnag, J&K Union Territory built by the great Lalitaditya Karkota, dates back to Mahabharata Era.
Martanda comes from two words - "Mrita + Anda" meaning "The sunset that Set" to rise again.
