@Mobyhaque1@BobbyNEIN_ You: I "genuinely" want to know the reasons why some people still have hope.
Someone with hope: Here are my reasons.
You: What the fuck, that's idiotic.
Doesn't seem very genuine to me.
@Chappers_11@UtdLifers@MelissaReddy_ You cannot be offside from a corner, therefore, when he was in contact with the keeper (not sure if he was actually holding him), he was not offside. He can only become offside once the ball is headed towards goal, and at that point he is away from the keeper.
@Chappers_11@UtdLifers@MelissaReddy_ Unless there was a foul, what happened before the header is irrelevant as he was not offside until the header actually took place.
@Samson1176@julianHjessop@JamesMelville Honest question about the diesel, is that a different price from what we pay at the pumps?
Price at the pumps has gone up from about £1.30 to about £1.43, depending on where you get it from, so 'only' 10% up.
@G__Chain Not saying Usyk is as good as Ali, but I don't think it's fair to compare their KO %.
Ali fought people mainly in the 200-220lbs range, Usyk is fighting people 240lbs +!
Frazier retired in round 14, and Usyk has obv never had chance to go past 12.
& Liston KO was controversial!
@Mobyhaque1 You need to do a similar analysis for Palace then. Currently in 3rd place and playing well, let's see where they are in Jan, but Guehi could be the difference between Champs League, Europa League or even the Conference. That difference would be £40m min. So why would they sell?
@PedroNetoCFC@TerryCoburn@TheAthleticFC I think there could still be a PSR benefit in the same window. They sell, book a profit, they buy back at same price, but that is amortised at prob 5-years. If the amortisation is less than the profit booked, there will be extra headroom.
It's not a good look anyway.
@themagic_tophat 5) Why is this in EUR, we spend GBP?
According to the last published accounts (May 24), Liverpool's cost of registrations was £749m, Arsenal's was £882m. Unsure how we will have got to £85m more than you since?
6) Our wage to turnover ratio is 63%, we are not over spending here
@themagic_tophat A full season of increased capacity at Anfield, as well as a new kit deal, and basically not spent the season before, we've got some extra money to spend this window.
3) This is unusual, but the need for 3 attackers is in part because one we had died.
4) This is related to 2...
