@afneil Labour, circa 400 MPs and they have to engineer the election of a former Cabinet member in order to have decent competition for the PM. Says a lot about the current crop.
@racefansdotnet A “simple” answer would be to enforce the serving of penalties during the race and heavily penalising those that don’t - regardless of what may arise after the race.
@GersIcons@ToshFarrow@strider80 Maybe you haven’t noticed but many have managed to avoid prison even when convicted, but knock yourself out keep looking.
Remember how Labour has spent the past two years calling everyone racist for worrying about asylum seeker crime rates?
Well, the Ministry of Justice just admitted that asylum seekers are committing crimes at a higher rate than all other migrants.
Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Eritrea have been identified as the most common countries of origin AND the highest crime rates by nationality.
Starmer and Co. never usually miss a chance to promise they’ll “punish criminals to the fullest extent of the law.”
But they seem to be keeping rather quiet this time…
…Funny, that.
A confident government answers questions. A nervous one attacks the questioner.
Scotland deserves less theatre and more honesty. Less performance and more persuasion. Less outrage and more respect for the intelligence of the people being governed.
@5liveSport I thought le clerc’s left front suspension fails a split second before he hits the barriers. He had hit an Armco earlier and maybe it was weakened
@C_3C_3 The footage can’t be released until the trial is concluded. That’s the law. To suggest anything else is going on is plain wrong and sensationalist.
@Rangers1ST You could do the same for Rangers Captains, Tav wouldn’t be up there with Greig, Gough, B Ferguson, Amaruso. Tav was a good player, but not a leader of men.
@Bobmcphail1872 Andy Roxburgh wasn’t Rangers manager. Not the same situation. Neither was the PLG matter, Ferguson didn’t storm off. Quite the contrary, the issue was Ferguson was a winner, PLG not. 11 years as captain and Tav “took the huff” and pissed off after 5 mins. Nothing like the same.
@GersnetOnline@ScottBradleyX No one is bigger than the Club. Legends don’t take the huff and leave five minutes into the game. Dead rubber or not I was there in the hope we would win, playing our strongest / fittest 11. Tab on the bench was what I expected.
