@thetrainline every time I try to book a cheaper time train, both app & website repeatedly tell me they've hit an error. This error magically disappears when I choose a more expensive ticket. I had the same issue yesterday. Are the cheaper tickets displayed actually available?!
📢 Young Black people face disproportionate threats to their mental health and multiple barriers to support.
Our new report with @UKYouth@DianaAward shows how involving them in co-creating the solutions can help tackle this injustice 👇🏿https://t.co/US67VNp3Ib #ASpaceToBeMe
New report: The UK Government’s response to the mental health impacts of Covid-19 was “slow, sporadic and reactive”, which exacerbated distress and led to longer-term harms.

📢 Our new research exposes the devastating impact of the cost-of-living crisis.

It is possible to recognise the risks of untreated serious mental illness & provide compassionate care. It is possible to keep communities safe & make sure people retain their human rights. It is possible because we know what works. We need the gov to fund & accelerate policy!
📢 Children are being failed by the state's inability to combat the dual crises of poverty and mental ill health.
New research with @savechildrenuk@CYPMentalHealth highlights the need for decisive government action to eradicate child poverty https://t.co/uy6HteGlSk #ADualCrisis
🧵 All policies - from transport & town planning to education & employment - affect our mental health.
So we're calling on Government to put every policy proposal through a 'mental health policy test': https://t.co/sP89GdX7c0 #MentalHealthPolicyTest#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
🧵This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek is a chance to reflect on where we’ve got to and how far we yet have to go before our mental health is taken as seriously as it needs to be...
📢 All policies affect our mental health, for good or ill.
So we're calling on the Government to put every new policy through a 'mental health policy test' to assess how it will affect people's wellbeing: https://t.co/sP89GdX7c0 #MentalHealthPolicyTest#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Worth checking out @CentreforMH's full response to this which sets out what PIP is: https://t.co/UQIF0lYSsP
It's not 'easy' to get PIP at the moment - just check out this @BigIssue on how PIP assessments play out in people's lives https://t.co/3XooMbOmt0👇
There are so many myths spreading (not accidentally) about what PIP is, how one gets benefits or signed off work... all feeding in to a narrative that people with mental health problems don't deserve benefits entitlements. Which only serves to make people feel worse.

📢 Poor mental health and long waits for support are fuelling school absence, according to our new briefing with @CYPMentalHealth.
Initiatives to boost school attendance won't be effective unless they address these wider factors. 👉 https://t.co/vHjRxLfgXn #NotInSchool
