The best place to find a mine is right beside an existing mine, just like the best place to find a 20+ bagger is in the hands of a CEO who has already accomplished that feat a couple times before…

New RECORD high monthly close for @ColonialCoal CAD.v today! I think people should spend less time speculating on how big or small the short position is and just embrace the March higher. I’ve included some “choose your own ending” price targets @ItsWarrenIrwin@GunstPhilip
A refreshed chart of @ColonialCoal whose resource (even after a 24% rally on Friday) is still ONLY valued at US$0.55/tonne and priced at ~50% discount to the low end of "fair value"
$CAD.v is priced at 30c/tonne in the ground basis a $1.55 stock price. The lowest priced comp sold for over 600% premium to that price at $1.86USD/tonne and a more recent deal in 2019 traded 9X higher (2.68/tonne)… #valueinvesting@ItsWarrenIrwin@ColonialCoal@adelaide_cap
The lows should now be in on @ColonialCoal $CAD.v. The tree was shook and the weak hands are gone. Volume dropped off a cliff on the corrective action, old resistance (1.80) has become new support and MACD is recharged and suggests explosive action. New highs soon @bigdude6669 ?
Commodity outperformance also means TSX outperformance vs S&P, DJI etc. In the short run that might mean falling slower than US counterparts but that’s still outperformance. History suggests this could be a 5-10yr phenomenon
Let the great rotation out of general (FAANNMG) equities into commodities and related equities begin. This won’t be a couple week event. It’ll last years and have legs!

Recent comps suggest $CAD.v can still run 3 to 4x from current levels. At $3.00/share #ColonialCoal is valued at only $0.64USD/mt. Bathurst JV’d in 2018 at $1.86USD/mt and Riverdale sold in 2019 for $2.68USD/mt. A similar valuation would put CAD.V stock between $8.74 and $12.60
Western coal, an analog for $CAD.v shows us that big corrections follow big surges, this is normal and expected. The reward vs risk remains very solid for #colonialcoal but need to remember: (1) all deals are different (2) timelines will vary (3) there are no guarantee of a deal
Nothing goes straight up. Today is as good of day as any to study the pullbacks that Western Coal, a $CAD.v analog, had along its journey. You can see 30-60% monthly corrections were the norm all the way up until Walter Energy bid $11.50/share or $3.3B to buy the assets/company
Wow, a great run for Colonial Coal $CAD.v / $CCARF. Fear you missed it? $CAD.v MIGHT still have lots of upside. Pls read 5-min article, decide for yourself! @ColonialCoal Not investment advice. #cokingcoal#metcoal Since this was written, prices unchanged.

@Hedgedin_Aruba@ColonialCoal @bigdude6669 @StocksCross@peterepstein2 Ah of course! I was also busy accumulating then too and this is also my biggest holding my a mile… but purposes of these charts is to show the tremendous blue sky that still remains
Another take the @ColonialCoal story told in a slightly different way. If a picture is worth a thousand words then consider this chart the path to a billion dollars. $Cad.v #gotcoal
Rendition 3.0 of $CAD.v valuation chart… Comps that sold in the US$1-2 per tonne in the ground happened in a $100-200 coking coal price environment (~1%). Today we are looking at a $300-600 coal price, so it could make $3.00 to $6.00USD/tonne viable for @ColonialCoal ?!
