@MartinCothran My belief: classical education is liberation from intellectual slavery. Modern-day public education is the *formation* of intellectual slavery.

@Crunchyroll Any plans to bring Kamisama Kiss back? We'd love it if you did!

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@ProfessorCarol Missed you last year at the Great Homeschool Convention in Round Rock and we're so sad to miss you again this year!

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@MartinCothran Sad we won't see you at Great Homeschool Convention in Round Rock this year!

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@Prolife_Sam None.

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@jacob_allee Mansfield Park for prudence.

@Rquietlyreading "But to produce this effect by the mere spectacle is a less artistic method, and dependent on extraneous aids." Aristotle's Poetics

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@BiblicalBeauty It was normal for my babies. I've seen it said "food before one is just for fun." As long as they're nursing/taking a bottle they're getting what they need right now.

Fascinating thread.

Rey. Galadriel. Captain Marvel. Bo Peep.

Why are modern female heroes so unlikeable?

And what does that mean for us professional writers?

It all starts with Mary Sue...

My 7 yr old gave her fingers biblical names (yes, her fingers 🤷🏼‍♀️). She named them "Mark, Joseph, John, Jacob, and Michael Jackson." That last one was a bit of a shocker. He he (MJ voice). 😂

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@Sonar_Games Where and when do you host dragon design contests for Dragon Adventures? (Asking for my 13 yr old. 😁) Thanks!

@Rugged_Legacy WAGMI (Only men have responded. Women can do this, too, right?)

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@HeritageEd_TX Makes me think of Fanny Price in Austen's Mansfield Park. She excelled in the habit of moderation.

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@alkellzz This is what the bathroom looks like every Sunday after the chaos of getting ready for church in the morning. Piles of towels and clothes...

[Kristin Baxter @Thebaxfamfive]

@goodreads Sooo good.

[Oscar Ortiz Duarte @OOrtizDuarte]

When I most needed guidance, I looked for answers in modern books but only found myself mirrored in the pages. When I turned to the classics, I found a rigorous mentor willing to hold me accountable for my actions and beliefs. #ClassicsTwitter #classicaled #classicaleducation

As much as we love @PapaJohns, and order often, our local store has ATROCIOUS service. This is the 2nd time in a row that we have waited almost 3 HOURS for pizza delivery on a weeknight. (Double the estimated wait time.) We're disappointed. And hungry.
