Someone just shared a wild story with me about what happened to her husband when he travelled from the UK to Nigeria.

For years, this man had been sending ₦500,000 every month to his close friend in Nigeria because the friend claimed he was jobless and struggling. Out of compassion, he supported him consistently month after month.

When he came to Nigeria recently, he decided to visit this same friend. They laughed, ate, and caught up like normal. But unknown to him, the friend had built a full house and even had a good job. He hid everything from him and kept collecting the monthly “support.”

A few days later, he overheard people talking about a house dedication happening the following week and it was his friend’s house.

The friend didn’t tell him.

The UK guy quietly attended the house dedication. When the “struggling friend” saw him walk in, he nearly fainted. Shock of his life.

Meanwhile, the man sending money every month doesn’t even have a house of his own in Nigeria not even a mortgage in the UK yet.

When he returned to the UK, he made one vow:

Never again.
