WHY THERE WILL BE NO REAL PEACE WITH LEBANON UNDER THIS HEZBOLLAH-BUILT SYSTEM

For years, people have tried to sell the fiction that Hezbollah is separate from Lebanon — that there is a clean line between the terror army and the Lebanese state.

There isn’t.

Yes, Hezbollah has its own command structure, arsenal, and patrons in Tehran. But for years, Lebanese governments did not merely tolerate Hezbollah’s armed status — they legitimized it as “resistance” inside the state’s own political framework.

Hezbollah’s power was never just about rockets and Iranian money. It was also about political legitimacy, state cover, corruption, intimidation, and patronage.

Look at the Port of Beirut.
Look at the black market networks.
Look at the weapons smuggling, drug trafficking, protection rackets, kickbacks, and political cover.

This is not just a Hezbollah problem. It is a Lebanese state problem.

To be fair, there has been a change in tone at the top. Joseph Aoun and Nawaf Salam may genuinely want a sovereign Lebanon free from Hezbollah’s grip.

But even good-faith leaders are still operating inside an apparatus that has been infiltrated, intimidated, and compromised for years.

Hezbollah and its allies did not just build a militia. They entrenched themselves inside the state, the economy, the border networks, and the patronage system that keeps Lebanon running.

That is why these talks are unlikely to produce anything meaningful.

Even if the U.S. puts the “right” Lebanese officials in the room, they are still operating inside a mafia-state structure Hezbollah and its allies spent years building.

Lebanon is not simply a failed state.
It is, in many ways, a mafia state with the institutions of a country and the operating logic of a cartel.

And while many decent Lebanese people want something better, they do not control the levers of power. The people who do are either compromised, intimidated, bought off, or too weak to dismantle the system.

So when Washington brokers “Israel-Lebanon talks,” remember this:

Israel is not negotiating with a normal neighboring state.

It is negotiating with a country whose sovereignty has been hollowed out by corruption, terror, and criminal patronage.

That is why there will be no real peace agreement with Lebanon under this Hezbollah-built system — not because every Lebanese citizen supports Hezbollah, but because the infrastructure of the state has been wired to protect the very forces peace would require Lebanon to dismantle.

A US-Israeli proposal is circulating to fundamentally restructure governance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque / Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The plan, reportedly championed by Jared Kushner:
— Strip Jordan of its historic Hashemite custodianship — Dissolve the Islamic Waqf authority
— Declare the site a "multi-faith centre"
— Grant Jews formal large-group prayer rights
— Establish a new Israeli-created governing body

Israeli-American attorney Daniel Seidemann has confirmed the proposal is in circulation. Kushner currently holds no official role. The plan is not policy. Seidemann warns that, if enacted, it would trigger an "outbreak of violence" across the Arab and Muslim world.

But what is being discussed matters.

The Temple Mount is the most prophetically sensitive square of geography on earth. Daniel 9:27 speaks of a strong covenant made with many concerning sacrifice and the holy place. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 speaks of one who takes his seat in the temple of God. Revelation 11 speaks of the temple measured and its outer court given to the nations.

Whatever the eschatological mapping, this is the geography. And the geography is now the subject of formal restructuring proposals from a sitting US administration.

Note one more layer. Stripping Jordan of Al-Aqsa custodianship would severely destabilize the Hashemite monarchy. Jordan is the geography of remnant flight in Revelation 12:14 — Petra, Bozrah, the wilderness east of the Jordan. The proposal weakens the kingdom Scripture seems to identify as future refuge.

This is a proposal. It is not policy. Watch whether it moves. Watch how Jordan responds. Watch whether the multi-faith framing gains traction in Knesset, Congress, or international bodies.

DEVELOPING HEALTH ALERT: EBOLA OUTBREAK CONFIRMED IN DRC ⚠️🦠

This is not a panic post.

It is a pay-attention post.

Africa CDC says a new Ebola outbreak has been confirmed in Ituri province, Democratic Republic of Congo, with about 246 suspected cases and 65 deaths reported as of May 15, 2026. Most suspected cases are concentrated in the Mongwalu and Rwampara health zones, with suspected cases also reported in Bunia, the provincial capital.

The detail that matters most right now:

Lab results detected Ebola virus in 13 of 20 samples, but early findings suggest this may be a non-Zaire ebolavirus strain. Sequencing is still underway.

That matters because the Zaire strain is the one tied to most of Congo’s major past outbreaks and the one current Ebola vaccines and treatments were built around. If this turns out to be Bundibugyo or another non-Zaire strain, the response becomes harder because there are no licensed vaccines or specific treatments for Bundibugyo or Sudan ebolavirus.

Uganda has also confirmed an imported Ebola Bundibugyo case involving a Congolese man who died in Kampala, adding cross-border urgency to the situation.
