South Africa, let’s help this woman reclaim her identity from Chidimma Adetshina. Her story sounds like a nightmare no one should have to endure, yet Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 is living the high life with lawyers up and down.

Any law firm willing to take on her case could do something truly meaningful here. @HomeAffairsZA needs to be held accountable and taught a very hard lesson. A doctor suspended by South Africa’s HPCSA should never be able to simply cross a border and have a clean professional slate elsewhere. The question raised by this case is deeply concerning: how does a doctor suspended from practising in South Africa manage to move to Canada and enter its healthcare system?

If this can happen once, how many other practitioners with questionable qualifications, disciplinary histories or suspended registrations have moved between countries and continued treating patients? @HealthZA @HPCSA

How many such doctors are currently working in our hospitals and what systems are in place to ensure that a practitioner who has been deemed unfit to practise in South Africa cannot simply disappear into another healthcare system?

And yes, her immigration expertise is WHY she was appointed but that SAME expertise is what she's using to FIGHT AGAINST the department that appointed her in court! You can't have it both ways

My source has confirmed that the Nigerian man, Francis Chukwudike, who was mocking Zulu culture, lives in Cape Town. He reportedly arrived in South Africa on a student visa in 2009 and now owns a club and several businesses.

He has allegedly been wanted by Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since at least 2021 for cyber-related fraud.

The charges reportedly include criminal conspiracy, computer related fraud, and obtaining money by false pretences, among others, alongside several other individuals who were declared wanted at the time.

He was declared a fugitive, and reports claim that he has been living openly in South Africa, including in Cape Town and Sandton, despite the warrant. Reports also mention past incidents involving unpaid bills at various venues.

CONTEXT:
A witness has provided pertinent information and details regarding the incident.

On March 9, 2019, Lerutla was apprehended by EMPD on charges of speeding and subsequently detained in Boksburg. He was released on bail the same day.

He did not appear in court, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant. Lerutla subsequently provided a medical certificate. Following this, Lerutla communicated with Mkhwanazi, who then arranged for an individual, identified as "Mr. X," to impersonate Lerutla during the court proceedings.

On the scheduled court date in March 2019, X appeared in place of Lerutla, presenting Lerutla's personal information. The prosecutor subsequently opted for a diversion program.

Mr. X participated in community service initiatives and subsequently withdrew from other commitments. A substantial payment was disbursed to X, which was then divided between himself and Mkhwanazi.

It is further alleged that in March 2019, X arrived while Lerutla was addressing charges related to the CFO. The South African Police Service asserts that they possess a compelling case.

This matter was brought to the attention of the Madlanga Task Team in February 2026.

Mkhwanazi was discovered in possession of 9mm rounds and 15RF ammunition. The South African Police Service (SAPS) is currently collaborating with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) to ascertain the legality of his firearm possession.

Law enforcement says they can't name Mr X for now.
