Americans realizing they spent $75 billion fighting Iran, then another $300 billion rebuilding Iran, just to reopen the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the war started
Giants pitchers didn’t just deface Pride uniforms. They alienated their fans and city
"This whole disastrous season has raised the question of whether this team is lacking some sort of fundamental character or leadership."

Mike Krukow was a 20 game winner for the @sfgiants and has been a longtime color analyst for the team with his former teammate Duane Kuiper. He has thoughts about the four Giants pitchers who hijacked Pride night last week.
“I would just hope they would understand the demographic of San Francisco and respect people for who they are. What you do to your uniform, that has weight to it. You can offend people. And why would you do that?”
Mike's son Wes is a dancer, is gay, and is married to his partner, Ted.
"“I’m so proud of him,” Krukow said. “I’ve seen gay life through my son’s eyes. The culture and the community is so beautiful.”"
I hope Landon Roupp, Ryan Walker, JT Brubaker, and Sam Hentges hold a conversation with Mike Krukow. Their choice has irritated and potentially alienated lot of the Giants fan base needlessly.
Regarding the verse, State Senator and Congressional Candidate for CA11 @Scott_Wiener had this to say:
"“To be clear, these players could have cited the rainbow bible verse on any of the other 364 days of the year. Instead, they chose to cite it only on Pride Night & only in connection with the rainbow Giants logo celebrating our LGBTQ community. There’s only one explanation for that choice — a choice the Giants tolerated,” Wiener wrote on social media. “It’s hard to envision the Giants tolerating this kind of behavior directed at any other community. The Giants can & must do better.”"
While the words of the Genesis verse sound inclusive, the Biblical and social contexts are not. God "gave" the rainbow in "mercy" after an apocalyptic flood wiped out most life on earth presumably to cleanse the earth of "sin" which reads like a threat to those these pitchers "morally" disagree with.
The "Reclaim the Rainbow" movement is curious- why does a natural phenomenon witnessed by all faiths and used metaphorically by the LGBTQ+ community need to be "reclaimed" as though it belongs only to Christians? And the "Reclaim the Rainbow" song makes it clear in homophobic lyrics what the "movement" is about- like these:
"What do you mean? They turned the rainbow to sin
But they don't know what it means
It is a promise, it isn't pride
God said He would no longer flood the Earth (flood the Earth)
Now it's for abominations
When they put their flags outside those churches..."
The @sfgiants need to do better, on and off the field. Their on field struggles might be more tolerable if they showed more tolerance.

🚨 THIS JOKER RANT IS GOING VIRAL FOR A REASON... 🚨
"You're just trying to exist...
But they own the land.
They own the water.
They own the food.
You’re born into a cage.
Taxed to breathe.
Forced to work.
Trapped in a system that calls it "freedom."
Natives lived with the Earth.
We pay rent to exist on it."
