ZANIS-Communities living on the shores of Lake Tanganyika have been advised to relocate to upper land due to rising water levels.
A further increase is projected with the onset of the rainy season.
Rwanda is building its largest artificial lake, the 40MW Nyabarongo Dam.
The project is 50% complete and will be fully operational in 2028. It will create a water reservoir of 800 million cubic metres.
