Islam is a religion, just as Christianity is also a religion; And freedom of religious practice remains a right in Nigeria. I have seen a lot of negative comments concerning the Super Eagles captain (William) converting to Islam. We just finished addresing ethnic bigotry, as a matter of fact the discussion is still ongoing, and now people are pushing religious bigotry, in a country where Muslims are part of the majority.

How come many of you see Islam as a problem but then want Muslims to support and vote for your candidates during the elections?

With this mindset how do you expect this country to move forward? You can simply wish him well and respectfully keep it moving, or better still, look away.
