When I see a "DeX" talk about dark pools, it instantly means to me that their owners don't want to lose the control they have over user assets.

I understand that they're willing to use user funds to trade against their own users.

This is why projects are much better off listing and having their supply mostly on HL or on chain where others can't touch / lend it out to malicious MM's.

CeX's use your own funds to trade against you, HL fixes this and this is why CeX/MM's are so desperate recently. Their main source of profit isn't trading fees, it's trading against users.
