Agree with, disagree with...it's all good if you keep it respectful. Liberty loving Neoclassical Liberal. RTs don't mean endorsement. MANY have snarky responses
The Dems have the largest corporations aligned with them, doing their bidding, including enlisting them as agents to quash free speech. Check.
They work to remove ANY opposition from ballots, and I'm talking RFK, the Green Party candidate, the Libertarian candidate, etc, as well as Trump. Check.
They have a vast majority of the corporate media working as their mouthpiece, doing their bidding, praising their candidates and policies, while criticizing their opponents...even when those policies are the same. Check.
They attempt to take control of the election process to benefit their party. (They sure tried with the reformation of the Federal Election Commission in HR1 of the 117th Congress. Luckily that didn't succeed). Not check......yet.
They abuse the legal system to go after political opponents and suppress opposition. Check.
Functional price control policies. Check.
Putting politicians who speak out against their policies on official watch lists. Seriously...Tulsi Gabbard? A "terrorist"??? Check.
They demand suppression of individual rights for the arbitrary, self-defined "good of the collective". Check.
They demonize supporters of their political opponents as existential threats to the nation. Check.
Each of those things is a hallmark of fascism. And it's the Dems who are doing it. Don't be fooled.
@CatoInstitute "Largest trading partner" does not mean we NEED stuff from them. It means US consumers are more than happy to save money by buying cheaper foreign products, but "need"? Not so much.
By all means, name one necessity we get from Mexico/Canada that cannot be produced here.
@laralogan And? That doesn't make up for the abhorrent statement that does nothing but characterize Trump supporters as drooling goons, alienating 3/4 of Americans.
Wrong
Austin Metcalf is dead because Karmelo Anthony's dad taught *him* that any perceived minor disrespect -- especially from a White person -- is worthy of death.
It's attitudes like yours that perpetuates the perception that Black males are inherently unhinged violent thugs. And your justification only gives them license to be just that.
You rail against society for not fully embracing Blacks. But society is never going to give you the special dispensation for murder that you demand for Blacks. That's not society's fault. It's yours.

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
@LinaTruthSeeker@Reuters Except that regime believes it's better for their citizens to starve to death than fall under the influence of the "Great Satan".
Everybody, especially in this admin, see these ppl as rational actors. They are not. They see this as a holy mission with dead civilians as martyrs.
@Reuters "Trump said 'discussions and final points' have been approved by the United States, β Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, βPakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others."
Notably missing from that list of approving nations...Iran. π€¦
@MehekCooke@DAGToddBlanche Other than defense, the first thing AI needs to be used for in our government is fraud detection. And it can't come soon enough.
OMG, this is the stupidest sh*t ever. Utterly mindnumbing.
The sentence, "They were Christian in conviction, in language, in the rhythms of the week" ignores the most important characteristic of Christianity...faith.
It also ignores that faith defines Christianity, not congregational membership. Just braindead. π€¦
@AP Re: Karmelo Anthony being "distraught" after the killing...
That's a pretty expected reaction for people who know they'll spend the rest of their lives is prison. Just sayin'. π€¦
Also "I told him not to touch me" is completely different than "I thought he was going to kill me"
@harryjsisson@MattWalshBlog That's laughable. Look at the images of that building immediately after. You'll see rubble. You'll see men milling about.
Things you won't see? Men working w/ any sense of urgency. Desks. Chairs. Paper. Pencils. Chalkboards. Clothing. Anything indicating it was an actual school
