@morganisawizard At first we opened a joint acc, figured out the monthly expenses & each put half that amt in the acc for bills. The rest of our money was our own to do with as we pleased. It evolved to joint money, separate “allowances”. Still spending autonomy, but the bulk is shared.

@DonnaGa82361341 @BonnieMeikle1 @AdrianaLaGrange Don’t even get me started on the training. I work for Drs who do surgery, so I was required to attend training that was 100% irrelevant to my role. There was zero acknowledgment or training for staff who need to use it for billing or “fringe work”.

@AdrianaLaGrange Drs are expected to take time from pt care to put together a referral that admin staff should be doing. & when there’s an error, they have to spend more time investigating why. the MOAs are hard pressed to get details from Connect Care so we ensure a complete, timely referral.

@AdrianaLaGrange There’s no need for an expensive 3rd party evaluation. As an MOA in a private clinic—that’s not on connect care—I can tell you it’s causing duplicate work for the physicians, extra admin work for them, & serious gaps when results are not being sent to PCPs.
