the rub is don’t ever try to get a specific design. I loved the light power stretch one that is in mercury grey and I wasted 2 more … it has the convenient zipper pocket which is great on the golf course to organize stuff. 2 of 4
I must say I totally loved @thepantproject trousers. The have great fitting and a wide range of colors. I got 3 different types of Power Stretch pants all at ₹1790 each and even thou I got the size wrong, they promptly replace them with the right size … 1 of 3
@ravihanda@sardamit It’s very common
Not only the HDFC ICICI IDBI but also SBI have been giving senior citizens the run around
My 90 year old dad has been going between cities (Bangalore - Chennai- Noida) even in this digital age!!!
I had a 90 minute, gripping conversation with a senior Air Force veteran yesterday, Air Commodore Tapas Sen. He brings with him knowledge of the air force from the 1950s. He revealed some interesting facts about aircraft performance that thousands of X posts and 100s of YouTube videos cannot reveal. Non aviators can never really understand how things work in the air with individual machines; we go by Wiki specs. For example he said that a comparison of acceleration at very low levels was held between a Gnat and an HF-24. When the race started at 250 knots - the Gnat raced ahead and the Marut had no chance. But when the same race started at 380 knots - the Marut left the Gnat eating dust. The point being - this business of thrust weight ratio, acceleration etc depends on platform, speed and altitude. It was Devayya's better knowledge of these factors that enabled him to kill an F-104. He mentioned another mock air raid when HF-24s were supposed to attack their own home base and the latter had radars on and MiG-21s on CAP. The HF-24s came an went at very low levels, hitting the airfield and no one could do anything. Jugaad, which we mention only to mock ourselves is often the best solution in some circumstances. In the early 1960s - the turn around time between sorties was 30 minutes - far too long. The limiting factor was the need to wait for Gnat brake pads to cool after landing. The turn around time was reduced to 11 minutes by using compressed air cylinders, normally used to start Gnat engines to blow ice cold air on the brake pads.
Late Sqn Leader Devayya, MVC, the hero of #SkyForce trained to be a flying instructor under Tapas Sen sir. Devayya was a good pilot but mischievous out of box thinking flyer. He once approached Sen sir saying that he was in trouble because part of a tree branch was stuck on the wing of the HT-2 he was flying. Meaning, he was flying that low, against regulations. He explained the situation an Sen sir's testimony got him out of trouble.😀
What do you do when a reporter can’t read? The registration number in the picture is clearly NOT the same as printed -twice !! The quality of proofing has obviously deteriorated to a level of being laughable!!!
@AnchitGupta9@Chopsyturvey@IAF_MCC I remember some amazing meals at his home in Bhuj, we would stop for a lunch break on our way to Naliya from Jamnagar. God Speed and Blue Skies sir.
Is this for real? Is having a smartphone and using UPI a the benchmark for “Tech-Savvy”??? This is a recent Chief of Army speaking!! Shocking and shameful @kphemant
