Uma cerveja não sabe que você está vulnerável, não recalcula sua oferta em tempo real, não te manda bônus quando você tenta parar usando código para isso, se você tenta parar de beber, não aparece uma cerveja na porta da sua casa tentando entrar.

E tem um dado especialmente perverso: segundo a OMS, cerca de 60% da receita do jogo vem das perdas de pessoas que jogam em níveis nocivos. A dependência no caso dos cassinos e bets não é um efeito colateral, é o objetivo.

No Brasil, o Banco Central estimou 24 milhões de apostadores e R$ 20,8 bilhões movimentados por mês já em 2024. O combo: BET + INFLUENCIADOR PAGO COM AS PERDAS + REDES SOCIAIS, é um câncer.

Então não existe incoerência nenhuma em tratar os dois de formas diferentes. Podemos aceitar que proibir álcool, um produto físico consumido há milhares de anos por bilhões de pessoas, produziria um mercado clandestino gigantesco, 1929 está aí para nos lembrar disso e ao mesmo tempo concluir que não precisamos permitir um cassino algorítmico, instantâneo e disponível 24 horas dentro do bolso de cada brasileiro.

“Álcool também faz mal” não é argumento para liberar outra coisa nociva. Senão teríamos que legalizar qualquer produto destrutivo só porque existe um pior.

Vários países não tem bets legalizadas e não sofrem das mazelas que o Brasil tem sofrido.

O mínimo era ter proibido toda a publicidade, já atenuaria 90% do problema, os influenciadores estão jogando seus inscritos no buraco deliberadamente.

A MP não deve parar em pé assim, ela é uma medida eleitoreira que vai ser amplamente discutida. Com a quantidade de suborno que esses caras pagam, duvido que pare em pé, espero que alguns quebrem e deixem a discussão menos enviesada.

É óbvio que todo mundo que ganha dinheiro com o mercado de apostas ilegais vai sair em defesa, não tem jeito. Mas da forma como está, as bets não podem continuar.

Sites ilegais sem publicidade aberta em rede nacional, não tem 1% do alcance dos sites que patrocinam times e etc.
