ThinkBase makes ethical, transparent, explainable, and non-neural AI. We deliver it in Teams Apps and SaaS. We want to be the world’s first call for ethical AI.
The same applies to other things, like politics. We are often told that "progress" only goes one way, that you can't go back. Certainly we can't unlearn things, but we can look at previous states, and think hard whether what we have now is better.
@StupidNeilAgain "Zuhair Hassan (born 19 August 1995), known professionally as Big Zuu, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ and television personality from West London". Apparently and allegedly, they put too many 'p's in 'rapper'.
@Kevin74767525@somewutbased@Steve_Sailer I don't disagree at a government level. I'm only trying to point out this doesn't work at an interpersonal level. The syllogism "Group A tends to have general attributes B,C, D belongs to group A, therefore D has attributes B,C" doesn't hold.
@Kevin74767525@somewutbased@Steve_Sailer Not for a single bet. It would work for something like financial trading. Unfortunately people often think "average" = "all". We shouldn't lie about the heritability of intelligence, but it's only relevant for governments, etc.
@somewutbased@Steve_Sailer We are all equal in humanity, not in IQ. But IQ, like everything else with humans is distributed. The distributions for different groups overlap. It doesn't make betting sense for a person of one race to look at another and assume they are less or more smart.
@dom_lucre One wonders at the source of this Ukrainian's wealth. We are told they are in dire straits, and yet there seem to be so many strangely wealthy Ukrainians.
@RealBlackIrish I have a Victorian house like that. It has a large verandah on the front which we have to paint every 5 years or so. It's white, as you'd expect, but during paint scraping I found out the original colour was maroon! Tastes change.
@BrianRoemmele It's fascinating that people consider Nazis and Fascists of the '30s far-right, when it's clear that their views came from the same source as Fabian socialism. The first state murders in Germany were not Jews, but the inhabitants of homes for the disabled.
@WorldByWolf I don't think it went too badly, but he does tend to take too long to answer questions, and wanders from the point. I watched the Sargon of Akkad interview, and he did the same thing.
@clim8resistance It's still true that there is a dramatic difference in the amount of bugs on my windscreen over the 45 years I've been driving. Something has happened.
@Jordan_W_Taylor If you're in the UK, there's a fabulous thing called a grenadier.

We have open fires and use this, but you can use it to start all manner of things.
@LilyWonderland5@Object_Zero_ Temperatures have always gone up and down. This does not mean we're causing it. I refer you to this article I wrote 15 years ago: https://t.co/jDBaJg4vEV
@LilyWonderland5@Object_Zero_ I don't think you understand how science works. There's an old saying, "Science advances one death at a time". Journals are controlled by editorial boards. Only ideas they like get published. They especially don't like ideas that would remove their funding.
@Object_Zero_ A bit harsh. I don't know if you've ever tried to organize anything politically, but it's hard, bruising, takes years. I've attempted to show that climate change is a scam and avoided cancellation because I work for myself. For others it's not possible.
