ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಆಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಹರಾಜಿಗಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನೀವು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವಾದರೂ ಇಂತಹುದೇನಾ? ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ, ಇಂತಹ ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ದಾಳಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಯಕರ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಧೃತಿಗೆಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದು ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ, ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ಶಾಂತಿಪ್ರಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ವಿಕೃತ, ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಪುಂಡಾಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಭ್ಯತೆಯ ಗಡಿ ದಾಟಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವೂ ನಾವು ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.‌

ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು ಸಹಜ. ಆದರೆ ವಾದದಿಂದ ಎದುರಿಸಲಾಗದವರು, ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಂತಹ ಹೇಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಡಿತನದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಭಿನ್ನಮತವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆ, ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ಹತ್ತಿಕ್ಕಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರ ತೀರ್ಪಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮರ್ಥನೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಈಶ್ವರ್ ಅವರು ಎದೆಗುಂದಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ಸತ್ಯ, ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ಪರವಾದ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಮೌನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

Many students from across the country missed their NEET exams yesterday as the NTA under Dharmendra Pradhan didn’t allow students even if they were just 5-10 min late.

2-3 students missed in Karnataka also missed their exam and Congress govt has formed a panel to look into it and assist them.

But, No accountability from BJP and Dharmendra Pradhan for paper leak, for students suicide, for students being allotted centres far away and not being allowed to take exam.

Surya should first come out and apologise for what the central government has been doing to the students... if the Congress government has to be blamed here for three students not writing NEET, then in Delhi, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh also, people missed it, so their state governments are responsible... a total of 3 people were not able to write the NEET exam in Bangalore... One came late from Magadi Road, one came up with an old exam ticket, and the other came late from RT Nagar... at 11:00 a.m., the gates are supposed to open. At 1:30 p.m., you are supposed to report. There are biometrics and standard operating procedures. The Govt of Karnataka has issued a traffic advisory and a helpline. Show me which BJP government has done this."

As usual, the serial misinformation MP is doing what he does best: spreading half-truths and manufactured outrage.

Here are the facts.

A total of 720 students were allotted RC College as their NEET examination centre. Of these, 142 were absent.

Three students missed the examination.

One student, travelling from Magadi, could not get a bus on time and reached the centre late, resulting in her missing the exam.

Another candidate arrived with an old hall ticket belonging to the examination conducted on 03.05.2026, and therefore was not permitted to write the exam.

Only one candidate travelling from the RT Nagar side missed the exam, and the exact reason is still being ascertained.

The Bengaluru Traffic Police had issued public notifications and traffic advisories well in advance.

The BJP MP, who is overflowing with concern for students missing exams for different reasons, was conveniently silent when his own incompetent government allowed more than 22 lakh students to suffer due to NEET mismanagement, paper leaks and chaos, with over 10 students reportedly dying by suicide.

By the BJP MP’s own logic, if a student missing exam today must be blamed on the Congress rally, then Modi and Dharmendra Pradhan must be held directly responsible for the paper leaks, student distress and deaths and must be thrown out of office.

Unfortunately for the empty trunk MP, there are no emergency exits here for him to open and escape through after making a baseless allegation.
