Health insurance schemes in low- and middle-income countries are often closely associated with the idea of universal health coverage; however, in many cases, coverage falls short of the universal ideal, and it is often those most in need who do not benefit.
The purpose of this #HSR2024 session is to explore why this is, understand the practical challenges countries face, and share different approaches to tackling the problem.

In July, ThinkWell collaborated with @HopeFromWithin_ and CitizenWatch to facilitate a one-day workshop in Manila to accelerate progress toward a high-quality national cancer registry in the Philippines.
