I nearly lost my respect yesterday because of ₦500. 😂😭

Let me explain…

I entered a keke and told the driver:

“Boss, please drop me at the junction.”

He looked at me through the mirror and said:

“₦500.��

I said, “No problem.”

Simple journey. No wahala.

When we got there, I brought out my ₦1,000 note.

The driver looked at the money.

Looked at me.

Looked at the money again.

Then said:

“Sir, I don’t have change.”

I said, “No problem. I have ₦500 in my wallet.”

I brought out my wallet.

Opened it.

Nothing. 😭

I checked my pockets.

Nothing.

I checked my other pocket.

Nothing.

The driver was already getting impatient.

“Sir, so what are we doing?”

I said, “Wait, let me think.”

At that moment, a woman sitting beside me whispered:

“Oga, give me your ₦1,000. I’ll give you ₦500.”

I almost shouted HALLELUJAH! 😂

I gave her the money.

She gave me ₦500.

I gave the driver ₦500.

Problem solved.

I got down feeling like a financial genius.

Then I reached into my back pocket…

And found another ₦500 note.

I stood there for about 10 seconds, staring at it.

The woman was still inside the keke.

She looked at me.

That was the moment I realized:
