Actually, as a P, I know that Mary is alive and in Heaven with Jesus... it is just that I don't believe that she has the God-like characteristics that you RC's ascribe to her. She is busy worshiping her Savior. She was blessed in her role in the salvation of mankind, but she was blessed by God... not from something inherently within her. He gets ALL the glory. Amem

Try seriously examining what else is out there. My experience was that I had no idea what the Bible actually teaches when I was RC and most RC's block their ears when exposed to Biblical teachings and surround themselves with RC's. Examine fairly what others have to say and then make up your own mind. Don't mindlessly follow what an institution says. Eternity rests on it.

No thanks. We prefer the name "Christians": Act 11:26c  ...and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.  Be it far from me to call me anything with the word "pope" in it. Mat 23:9  "Do not call anyone on earth your father (obviously in a religious sense); for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

Biblical Evangelical Protestants are the closest thing to the Christians of the Apostolic age, period. They follow the Bible, not a man made church made up of man made secret traditions. The Apostles knew nothing of most of your "sacraments" nor Mary veneration nor papacy, nor papal infallibility... and on and on and on - things added centuries after the Apostles in the name of "oral tradition" which = man made traditions
