Beautiful January morning here in York. And just beside Clifford’s Tower, you can see the white door in the old female debtors prison. Here were the gallows where the condemned were hanged inside what was York Gaol.

Over last couple of days I've been working on the reconstruction a #roman fort that was just down the road from me.

It was only occupied for a short amount of time so there's absolutely nothing of it left and have enjoyed reimagining it!

@Al_Humphreys Agree, can be really enjoyable, but I live in a rural village and even with a good head torch, a pheasant erupting from the bottom of the hedge can warrant a change of underpants for this big, beardy 6'2" man!
