Authentication is one of the first barriers to sending a successful API request.

@getpostman recognizes if the API request you're sending needs auth, and helps you set it up in one click. It works for API key auth and OAuth 2.0.

The best part? You can save all the details in your environment settings so you don't have to re-authenticate for future requests. Your credentials are automatically encrypted and securely stored locally with Postman Vault.

You'll see this new auth experience as the default option for supported public APIs in the auth tab.

Postman already supports Easy Auth for over 100 APIs, including popular ones like:

- OpenAI

- HubSpot
